Hej!
Tiny house Sasha is back! Six years worth of life has happened, and I'm building again, Woooooop!
August 2020 I got heavily inspired by a certain tiny house in New Zealand, and started designing my own based on that buider's design. I even bought her plans to get a better sense of how she did it, here's her house: http://www.shayestinyhomes.com/hazel-design. I was previously very much inspired by another kiwi's tiny house, Brett. I seem to like the kiwi design sensibility :-)
Since August I have been designing my second tiny house, and in the fall I teamed up with Fabian and the crew from Treesign Tiny Homes of Sweden to do my build. I decided this time around to hire a professional tiny house builder to get the house to lockup, and I am sooooo very pleased with that decision. Fabian has such a huge wealth of knowledge and those guys have built some gorgeous houses, so I'm feeling super confident about the outcome of this building project. Here's their stuff: https://www.treesign.se/
It's been great to have a project to focus on during this pandemic.
Here's some design drawings to get a sense of the house:
north wall |
bathroom and laundry |
The plans have changed some since I drew these, but the jist is the same.
east wall |
south wall |
And here's the most recent drawings from Fabian, of the windows and doors placement.
More to come...
